Firstly the venue was amazing, the acoustics were outstanding and the atmosphere perfectly poignant... My mate said It really felt as you were at a close family gathering but yet you didnt feel like you had intruded....and thats just it....it was excellent....with every artist complementing each other perfectly, Mark Geary, Ollie and Fiachra at the end.....and great to have Paddy Casey as a guest also......Two of Glens mates recited some poetry and a great anecdote about REM ...class.....
The music as always was truely great, I left feeling privilged to have been there, best money I've spent in a very long time....

This should have been called Glen and friends. Friends that you enjoy listening to but didn't NEED.
This is no insult to the great guests that he had on the stage (including Paddy Casey) but just pointing out that Glen has enough charisma, talent etc. that you wouldn't need anyone else.
I am a huge fan of The Frames, and I did miss the rest of the lads but it was a seriously good night.
Glen explained the reason that he chose St Anne's Church as a venue and it was really pretty. There was a problem with seeing the stage though and also as it was a church I think people were a little scared to join in with the singing like they do normally at The Frames/Glen's gigs.
