Scissor Sisters put on an amazing performance. Thoroughly entertaining. The atmosphere and the crowd helped make the concert. The venue was the icing on the cake. The Olympia Theatre in Dublin is such an intimate venue. You felt like you could reach out and touch them. No need for big screens at this concert. I would definitely recommend going to see Scissor Sisters and would go again myself

What an amazing night! I was incredibly excited about the show beforehand and the guys didn't disappoint. A blend of fantastic tracks from the new album mixed with stonking old favourites kept the crowd dancing. A thoroughly fantastic live band, they created an electric atmosphere that will stay with me for a long, long time.

My friend and I had an absolute ball at the gig, They put on an amazing show.
The only complaint we had was that when they came out for encore Jake had put his shirt back on, ...spoilsport, What a body MMMMM.

The Olympia Dublin was turned into a dance extravaganza last night thanks to the scissor sisters. ydelighted and teased us for just over 90 mins with their fabulous classic tracks and new material. The atmosphere was electric and jake, anna and the band giving us a feast of entertainment. The crowd yelled, screamed, clapped and cheered for more and more. It was a gig i will not forget for a long time. I would go again tonight if that were an option.

Olympia Theatre catered for a more intimate show and what a show! SS were on top form and entertained from start to finish!!!! Didn't get back to belfast until early hours but it was worth it!!!

A Scissor Sisters gig is more than just a gig - it is an event! The energy they put into their performance is astounding, they always have a great rapport with the audience. Don't let them pass you by! They are FIERCE to the nth degree and you HAVE to experience that, at least once in your life!

The Olympia must be structurally unsafe after last night. Scissor sister rocked the house! So much energy and no break for either jake or Ana. Both looked amazing! If they were playing again tonight I would def be back! Seen them in Marley park supporting dido, the rds and the point but last night was the best yet! The new tracks are dark and hard but still have the scissor sister energy about them. Love em love em love em! Can't wait till they're back again!

I go to a lot of gigs across all genres of rock and pop, but this is way up there as one of the best ever! The new songs from the forthcoming CD were blended in very well with the old favourites. The lighting was spectacular, the lasers turning the Olympia into a night club. The entertainment never flagged with a high octane level of energy and fun from the word go. Jake Shears has to be one of the best front men ever. So energetic on stage and mesmerising to watch. With Ana Matronioc they are the perfect double act...with a great line in tongue in cheek humour and on stage chemistry! The rest of the band are great musicians as hit after hit and powerful and edgy pop/dance melodies came thick and fast. The new album sounds fantastic. Can’t wait to get it. There was such a good vibe here that I am still buzzing today!..I so look forward to seeing this band again. They have to be the best pop band on the planet today and such a treat to see them up close and personal in the intimacy of the Olympia..if they were playing 5 nights I would go back to all all 5!! Utterly fabulous!!

amazing experience,i loved the new songs and the energy from the band,they really know their audience and some great interaction with the crowd,fantastic getting to see them play in such an intimate venue cant wait for them to come back as i would be first in the queue for tickets

From the moment they hit the stage they never let up. What i loved about this show is that they played a lot of their old stuff along with their new material [which sounds great by the way] It was my first time seeing them and they more than surpassed my expectations, can't wait to go hear/see them again

I was standing close to the back in a very warm venue. The band were excellent as always with great interaction with the audience. Unfortunately the sound where we were was terrible and we could not understand a single word from Jake or Ana, which was a pity because the music and the new songs were great. Hopefully when they return it will be to a bigger venue like the Point in 2007. It will not stop me going to see the band again.

Scissor Sistors were brillant - Jake Shears has sooo much energy & Ana Matronic is just so hip it hurts. PIty about the appalling support act - female lead prancing around stage singing woooooo all over the songs & the DJ went on far too long. But The Sisters didnt disappoint!

Shame about the overall sound of the gig - the Olympia venue doesn't offer the best sound, and it was really evident here. When the crowd were cheering, it was impossible to hear the spoken segue between songs.
That said, the staging and lighting are FANTASTIC! Really simple effects that give a kinda of glitzy industrial feel to the whole gig. Musically, really, really fun with all the hits peppered throughout the show, and what feels like darker new material thrown in for good measure.
Jake and Anna look more like a partnership now, both in really good voice, and the on-stage backing singers really added some depth the the vocals.
Highly Recommended.
