an excellent performance of my favourite composer's ballet. The costumes were so colourful, the ballet dancers so skillfull and the sound system amazing (though I did expect an orchestra there). I love the venue (second time there). Just a pity it was performed in October rather than December.

The ballet was wonderful and classy from start to finish! Graceful dancers, beautiful music. Wonderful rendition of the Tchaikovsky classic! Disappointing that I had BB seats and were relocated to Row P due to the ballet dancers taking all the other rows fro family and friends etc.

I enjoyed this ballet but not as much as I had expected to. I felt that there was something missing but I'm not sure what.
It didn't start on time and the person sitting next to me kept looking at their watch not only before the performance but during it.
The seat I had booked was upgraded to a fantastic seat with a great view of the stage!

Of course, the performance was what you can expect from a highly professional group. Not astonishing but highly enjoyable. However, if a performance is to start at 7.30 it should start at 7.30! It is direspecthul to the ensamble and to fellow spectators when people arrive 15 minutes late and behave like there is no reason to take a seat and let the show begin. The organisers showed to be non-professional in not closing the doors when the show is scheduled to start. That is what respektful and professional theathers do. Also allowing people take photos and to bring food into the theater is a non-professional behavour

I should have realised when booking that the seats being such good value- 125 euro for a famly ticket- that the ballet would be peformed without a live orchestra. Last time I saw this ballet performed was in the Point in assoc. with Irish Times, RTE concert orchestra and Cor na nOg performed-totally magic!
The sets were flimsy and disappointing.
Despite this, my family and I enjoyed the performance. The dancers have so much to do to make up the atmosphere, lacking a live orchestra.
I would like to have been informed of this detail when booking.

Went to this as it was in the Convention Centre and supposed to be performed by the Moscow ballet. Was disappointed with the show, it was not as good as I expected. Went to the Nutcracker in the National Concert Hall before, and it was much better. The whole thing seemed kind of amateurish, some of the music was cut and the decor and costumes just looked kind of cheap. Also we had seats on the side, and my partner had a seat completely to the right and could not see some of what was actually going on on the stage. The Convention Centre is a good venue (signposting to the car par is awful though).
