Alabama 3 gave a show that rocked from beginning to end..brilliant music,brilliant lyrics and sheer class entertainment.They made you feel an integral part of the group and Larry Love has a raw energy any artist would envy.

Alabama 3 blew everyone away at the mandella Hall. Country Acid House Music to the max.
This is was Belfast needs more live groups like the Alabama 3 with the partazan crowd totally in awe of this party loving group of people ahead of thier time. Well done to Queens for inviting them back, After show drinks with the band was amazing. May there be peace in the valley forever.

Alabama 3 always deliver and this was no exception. All the favourites were rolled out, Too Sick To Pray, Woke Up This Morning, Hypo Full of Love, Up Above My Head to name a few! Great crowd interaction and energy as usual, really great night!

Gig was great. Brilliant to see everything stripped down to a bare minimum. The guitar player was awesome as was the harmonica player and both vocals were a credit to the band. I really enjoyed the gig from start to finish

Glad we went to see them - they played their well known numbers as per YouTube, and overcame big problems with sound and feedback. They have a great interaction with the crowd - good craic.

The music was fantastic! What a statement of quality, musicianship and savoir faire from the band, they do know how to pick up and tame the atmosphere.
The singers... Appaling! I had listented to them on studio albums only and liked their stuff. Arrived a few minutes into the gig and at first I thought that they were the support act, where production is less influential. Points to note:
-When singing they were out of tune in most ocassions
-Their voices live are atrocious, no power, no bass, no soul or feel. Over engineered at best
-The venue... Is getting worse and worse, the smoking area was more a dump than a smoking area
-The crowd, other than noticing people dealing "the illegals" in the smoking area, some of them were jacked up to their teeth; which does spoil others enjoyment

Music was fantastic and when the lead singer wasn't harping on like some throw back from 70's punk rage against the establishment era they were very good.
The singers attitude really turned me off and spoiled the night for me as I was there to listen to a fantastic band and not an out dated political speech.
