Amazing show!!!

Favourite moment: Christie being carried through the crowd on someone's shoulders while singing 'Crazy World', which the band had dedicated to the people of Norway. @

Opening act(s): Dave Matthews - He was a nice enough guy, but did not make or leave much of an impression. The biggest applause he got was each time he announced that Aslan were going to be up next... @

This was my first Aslan concert. Everyone I had told about it during the weeks leading up to the concert told me I was going to enjoy it. They were right!
From the moment Christie walked onto the stage and took off his shoes until the final encore during which he put them back on again the music was fantastic, the atmosphere infectious and the entire concert one amazing event. It didn't matter if they played their own material or covers - the audience danced and sang along and thoroughly enjoyed the show and everyone, I mean, everyone (including little ole' me) had an absolutely brilliant time!

Christy and the lads put on a brilliant show as usual, Vicar Street was packed and the atmosphere was brilliant. I seen this guys in September but it wasnt too soon to see them again, cant wait for the next time, highly recommended.

What a fantastic show! I have seen Aslan three times this year and what stood out for me was how amazing Christy looked, so healthy and tanned it was great to see him in such good form. The band as usual were fantastic, song lists a great mix of new and old. Roll on 2012 for their 30 year celebrations just can't wait. Thanks Aslan for another fantastic and memorable night

What a gig. From the moment they came on stage to the moment they left it was just pure brilliant. Played all the favourites and some new stuff....!! Christy getting on the shoulders of the security guy and coming right down into the crowd was just the highlight of the whole show. After all these years, the band seem to be getting better. Great venue and loved every single minute of it. IF you get a chance to see them - go, well worth it.

This was my first time seeing Aslan live, and they made my St Patrick's Day very special! I was so excited seeing them live for the very first time, and loved every single minute of the gig!!

I had promised my daugher (14) that she would love Aslan live... She did. The atmosphere was brilliant and the music was awesome. They played all the songs that we know and love and the new song form the new album is fantastic, Can't wait to hear it all in September. I don't think that many bands can get a crowd going as well as they do. They encourage us all to belt out their iconic songs as if we were all in the band The 'All Ages' crowd varied form young kids to very mature folks. For the money they charge to see them, a better night out will not be found

I saw Aslan for the first time in Letterkenny last week at a charity gig and they were absolutely brilliant. Although there was only a small crowd at it they put on a great show. Christy Dignam has a great voice and after seeing them live I definitely think they're one of the most under rated Irish bands ever. One of the best live bands I've ever seen.
Also I had a young cousin with me and it was her first concert. Christy sang to her and took photos with her while he was on stage and it made her night. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

Excellent as always, Aslan never fail to impress. Get the crowd going from the start and never lose them. Christy has a god given talent and it never ceases to amaze me that they're not an international hit when you consider some of the unmentionable bands that are.

Best of luck in the New Year lads and look forward to a fem more gigs.

enjoyed the show very much. Crowd was very small which took away from the atmosphere a little bit but was good to see this band. The set was fairly short but done all their best ones. Support below average but empty venue didn't help him

Event was great . sound was perfect although as I was on the upper tier sound was a little mutted at times but was corrected as the night progressed. Bit dissapointed in turn out thought more people would have been there to see this very entertaining and iconic band.

Good show played all the hits, great energy from both the band and the crowd. Great that they aspire hope and change but think they should stay away from the politics, a couple of the songs had biased political imagery in the background- personally I'd prefer the lads to stick to the music rather than isolate any of their fans politically. Good crowd and fairly easy gettin served at the bar, albeit expensive (6e Smirnoff Ice example).

For a start this venue was terrible, there was nowhere to leave coats/bags. When I walked in I saw an empty dancefloor with people sitting in a crescent shape around it. People sitting!! This was Aslan!!! It was like an old folk's home with a terrible atmosphere. When the band came on I thought people would get up but no, all remained seated. My friend and I hit the dancefloor but quickly realised that this was frowned upon. When Aslan played Crazy World people did dance but when this was followed by a couple of slow songs they sat back down again. I don't know how the band got through the gig, I couldn't imagine the view from the stage.I felt particularly sorry for Christy as he couldn't even get through a song without people pulling off him, talking to him and posing for pictures besides him. I mean literally, he couldn't even get to sing at one point! It must have been very difficult and it is not as though he could tell them to get lost.
