What a great and energetic performance Kila!! Brilliant gig, so delighted to have purchased the ticket for such a great band.
And of course, great gig in the best venue...Whelans is perfect!!

Sparkling form, great dancin' vibe, had a few visitors from the US and they were so grateful to have gone to this gig. Kila knows how to treat their audience...Thanks guys!

Every year i go to Kila's Christmas show as they are one of the best lived acts i have ever seen. With a combination of Irish music with a twist and great visuals they are the future of irish music and they make me proud to be Irish.
The only negative coment is the venue Tripod. call me old fashioned but i like my seat to smell bettter than the Toilet and not the other way around .There was a stage when i went to get out of me seat only to find that the floor had taken a shine to me and would not let me move I would say thats the only shine it has seen.. I nearly threw my shoes away when i got home.

Even with the issue of hygeine in the venue Kila as always blew my mind.

This was a fantastic venue for a great gig. Very laid back at first, good bar set up, and nice canopy over the square. Paddy Casey played a good set, he was sporting a new haircut, well all his hair was gone, bald as a coot. Great voice
Kila were amazing as usual, such talented musicians and so unique. The atmosphere was fantastic, everyone jumping around going mental.
A great night all round, and would definitely recommend Ceilidh Culture for next year!

Great performance but ht espeakers were far too loud, my friend still can't hear in his right ear and my ears were damaged for two days after. I go to many events bu this is the only time this happened

Ticket said doors open at 8.00 but by 8.30 we were still in a queue a mile long out on the street .. why? . Kila were like the chieftians on steriods and when Paddy Casey joined them it was fantastic.

Given the fact that this was the Saturday night before Christmas I was expecting a party night with a great atmosphere. Instead it was a short gig starting at 9.15pm approximately and finishing before 10.30pm. That in itself was very disappointing and I thought a rip off on Kila's behalf. Value for money they are not! The crowd was a very sedate lot and the atmosphere was dead. The house was cleared very quickly at 10.30pm and it was all a huge anti climax. This was not a night out in itself as I expected. I wont be going to a Kila gig again. There are much better gigs in the west of Ireland with equally talented musicians who know how to create an amazing, memorable party atmosphere and are much better value for money.
